雖然這部電影以一個體面的前提開始。（導演去外國波拉特/蘇聯國家製作電影）第一幕後很快就崩潰了。它從一部相對好的喜劇轉變為一部黑暗且相當複雜的混亂。情節點最終沒有得到解決，拍攝場景拖延，而人物的心理影響及其變化沒有深入研究。主要的女性愛情興趣從來沒有被真正探索過，只要她在劇中需要她就在那裡，儘管她的角色是電影中最有趣的背景故事。這一切都增加了一個結局，感覺懶惰，未解決，最終和電影不相加。由於腳本太弱，所以不值得一看。但是，如果這部電影確實有任何加分，那麼MacFadyen和Buring的表演都不錯，但這並不能解決平淡而乏味的寫作問題。相當關鍵，但定居1.5星。不能走得更高。
